Hall Barn Estate – 4R Building Limited

Hall Barn is a 17th Century country house situated within Lord and Lady Burnhams Estate in Beaconfield. We enjoy a long standing relationship and have worked together on renovation, restoration and, where required, rebuild. These projects have involved the main house and the accompanying estate comprising over 100 cottages including the oldest recorded cottage in Beaconsfield.

Chimneys & Gables

Renovating the chimneys on the main house, the gables in the old stable block (now the estate manager offices) with flint and fat lyme. Extensive rebuilding and renovating the gables and walls of 200 year-old cottages with hand made nails and hand-fired bricks that occasionally feature the fingermarks of the children whose job it was to fire the bricks in wood ovens.
